Reporting an error
Please include the address of the page, the rule, figure or sentence you think is wrong, and a link to a statute or official source for the right information if you have one. We check every report against the source. Law changes often, so a report that a rule has changed is especially welcome. Our corrections page explains what happens next.
Questions about your own case
We are not a law firm, and writing to us creates no attorney-client relationship. We can’t read your lease or notice, tell you what to do or recommend a lawyer. Writing to us does not stop a deadline in a notice or a court case.
If you have a notice or a court date, contact the court named on it. If you need legal help, a lawyer or legal aid can look at your case, and the Legal Services Corporation’s search finds legal aid offices it funds. Your state agency can help with its own rules. If you are in danger, call 911.
